Rex and Meredith are a Certified Therapy Dog Team. Upon request, Rex is able to serve Move Counseling clients by being present in client sessions. This unique opportunity serves as a support to clients as they regulate emotions, lower stress & anxiety levels, build relationships, and overcome challenges.

Rex is a 7 yr old lab-mix and is the Kunkle family's pet in his time off. Rex has lived with the Kunkle family since he was a brand-new puppy and was raised by the Kunkles. He was a star student throughout his training and became a Therapy Dog at age 3. He was a member of LISD's Muttley Crew of Therapy Dogs for 5 years and has served in many crisis and therapeutic settings.

Meredith Kunkle and Rex have completed all required training and testing and hold their certification as a Therapy Dog Team through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
